Insulated Roofing

Insulated Roofing for Your Outdoor Entertaining Area

Create seamless indoor-outdoor flow with a modern and stylish insulated roof, making the perfect addition to your home.

Insulated roofing is becoming more and more popular. There are so many benefits to having an insulated roof. It not only cuts down on heat in summer and reduces condensation in winter, but it looks amazing as well with it’s clean finish.

The pre-painted steel ceiling finishes are low maintenance so you can spend more time enjoying your outdoor living area.

Often used as an extension of existing “Alfresco” areas, Premier can also install this product under existing metal structures.

Our insulated steel awnings can be designed as either free standing or attached to your existing dwelling. And we can also install downlights, ceiling fans and skylight strips as well.

What Customers Say About Our Service

This company was recommended to me when I was looking to build a pergola. I had a few quotes and these guys were not the cheapest but you are investing in something that you want to add value to your home. While price is important so is quality and peace of mind when you are spending a lot of money.

From the very beginning of the initial quote this company was outstanding. You can tell a lot about a company by how they treat their contractors. ALL of their guys stated Premier was the best company they had worked for. And these guys worked! The only break I saw them have was when I took coffee and cake out to them, and the electrician was fantastic.

From start to finish Premier did what they said they would. If you are in doubt or think saving that few $$$ is worth it, you are wrong. Go with this company and like me you will be recommending them to everyone.

“hardworking and cleaned up after themselves”

We just had our deck and railings redone as well as a new pergola installed by Premier Improvements and we are really happy with the end result. It looks fantastic and the team that built it were lovely, hardworking and always cleaned up after themselves. Thank you!

“very professional”

Great company. Very professional customer service and workmanship. We are very happy with the extension built onto our alfresco.

“the new structure blended with our existing awnings”

I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you what a fantastic job Jason did on erecting our new awning. He went to great lengths to ensure the new structure blended with our existing awnings and the results are exactly what we wanted… I honestly couldn’t be happier with the end result… We are extremely pleased that we selected Premier Improvements and will be more than happy to recommend your company to family and friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Insulated Awnings?

There are so many benefits to having an insulated roof. It not only cuts down on heat in summer and reduces condensation in winter, but it looks amazing as well with it’s smooth finish. The panels are structurally engineered allowing us to span large areas without a lot of unsightly beams. They are low maintenance so don’t need painting for many many years to come, provided they have been maintained properly.

What Brands do you use for Insulated Steel Awnings?

We use an Australian product called Versiclad, which is engineered and manufactured for the Australian conditions.

What is the Difference Between an Alfresco, Awning, Patio, Pergola?

In short, an alfresco is a part of the house under the same roof. Some modern houses have an alfresco area builtin for outdoor dining or entertaining. If your house does not have an alfresco, you can create an outdoor entertainment area with a patio, pergola or awning.

A patio is a courtyard, often paved. In Australia, a patio may also refer to covered structures. A patio is considered an extension of the indoor living area. A patio can be attached to the dwelling or detached. In the case of a detached patio, it is common to have a walkway between the patio and the house for added protection from the elements.

A pergola is usually a timber structure with no roof. Plants are grown over the structure to provide shade and it is often considered as a part of the garden.

An awning is one of the various structures providing a covered area. Awnings are commonly over BBQ entertaining areas, but are also referred to as window coverings and walkways.

Some people may also use the term “pergola awning” to refer to a pergola with a roof. Likewise, people may use the phrase “patio awning” when they describe a covered outdoor entertainment area in the backyard.

In daily life, people use these terms interchangeably. If you are thinking about a roof or a covered area in the backyard, please chat with us. You can use any of these terms and we will know what you mean.
